been providing quality whitetail deer hunts, mule deer hunts
and moose hunts in Alberta since 1980. Our goal is to offer

This
year we have had the chance to expand our whitetail hunts
into one of the premium trophy whitetail
deer hunting zones of Alberta. In the past this zone has
only had very limited opportunity for hunters outside of the
province, producing some impressive bucks. In 2008 there were
2 bucks taken over 190 inches, and previous to this there
was a buck taken from this zone that scored 208 inches. James
A. Smith Outfitting has exclusive rights for the non resident
whitetail deer hunters in this area of Alberta. With little
to no hunting pressure, you will have an opportunity at true
trophy size whitetail deer!
In addition to our Northern Alberta whitetail hunts, we also
have our whitetail
deer hunts, mule
deer hunts and moose
hunts in the foothills of South Central Alberta. We have
been operating these hunts for over 25 years. We have a very
healthy stable deer population. Almost everyone will have
an opportunity to take a trophy buck home. We have access
on some good moose habitat along creeks and willow bogs and
sometimes in the alfalfa fields in November. With approximately
2500 square miles of hay, grain land and forest, there are
plenty of places to hunt for these trophy animals!
Once

opportunities for whitetail deer, mule deer and moose. We
