Terms
& Conditions Booking Your Hunt:
- Outfitter's fee does not include
any cost of air transportation of any sort. Client must charter
commercial air service for all travel to /from or within Outfitter's
guide area and all costs of such transportation are Client's responsibility.
- If for any reason Client fails to
arrive in Outfitter's camp as scheduled, no adjustment or compensation
can be made; if Client leaves before contracted trip ends, the
entire period must be paid for; all resulting costs are Client's
responsibility.
- If Client's departure from Outfitter's
camp, as scheduled at the end of the trip, is delayed for reasons
beyond Client's control, Outfitter will provide Client room and
board at outfitter's camp during the delay, without charge.
- Outfitter gives no guarantee that
game will be located and client is not assured of any game trophy.
- Once Trophy or Trophies are collected,
hunt is automatically completed unless otherwise arranged by outfitter.
- On all our hunts we must receive
a 50% deposit before we consider the hunt booked. This deposit
being a partial payment of the total price of the hunt is not
refundable. However, it may be transferred to the following year
if we are notified prior to March 1 of the year of the said booking.
We will accept a personal cheque for this partial payment only.
Balance must be paid in cash, traveler's cheques or money order,
60days prior to the dispatch of the hunt.
- While maintaining all reasonable
care and precaution of the safety of hunters and non-hunters,
James A. Smith or any one of our employees or personnel will accept
no responsibility for injury, illness or accident of any nature,
lost or broken equipment, or costs arising there from. Transportation
dates missed due to severe climatical conditions will not be the
responsibility of the outfitter.
- Whitetail/mule deer combo hunts
and moose hunts are 1 on 1 guided hunts. All other hunts are 2
on 1 guided hunts.

Transporting Firearms:
You will need to register your firearm
with Canada Customs when you arrive. To speed up the process you
will need to complete the firearms declaration form in triplicate.

Wildlife Identification
Number (WIN):
A Wildlife Identification Number (WIN)
is required to purchase hunting licences in Alberta. A WIN number
is valid for five years from the date of purchase and costs $8.00.
A plastic WIN card with your WIN number on it will be mailed to
you in 4 weeks. You may purchase a licence online at the AlbertaRELM
website
Entry To Canada:
As of January 1, 2008 all Non-Canadians coming to Canada must have
a passport. There is a rush on passports and the wait is long so
be sure to apply early.
